Please could I ask for racers to post details of their racing club, contact details and additionally info e.g. whether pedigrees / lurchers are welcome. This is for some racing promotion I'm hoping to do so please check that those concerned are happy for their contact details to be circulated publicly e.g. phone numbers / email addresses etc.

Thanks

Hello Jacq

A few words about the Fordingbridge Wrc. We are based in the new Forest in Hampshire.

We are fortunate enough to have some idyllic surroundings, and we are based at the Fordingbridge Sports Ground

We have access to the club house, there are showers and toilets, and camping facilities for our racing event.

In the Summer months we are there on a Wednesday evening from about 4.00pm to 7.30pm and on Sundays from 10.am to 1.00pm.

In the winter months we are only there on Sundays.

I send out news letters to our members so that they are kept informed as to what is happening within the club. A provisional club racing calendar is given to each member and this gives members a chance to work around the opens being staged at other clubs.

Our club stages one regional open event every other year, we hold a charity open each year for the Scruples Whippet Rescue, at our camping event

which is growing bigger each year that we stage it we hold an NNWRF open on a Saturday and a club top ten open on the Sunday.

Our camping has gone from 4 days, 2yrs ago, to 7days this year.

Everyone is welcome whether it be with a non ped, a ped, a lurcher, a terrier.Whatever the breed If the owner wants to give there dog a run

they will be made very welcome

The post code for the track is SP6 1AN. Contact numbers are Doreen 02392 486578 or Bert 02392 267352.

Hope this helps

regards

Doreen
