Right i know Judy Posted a list of points and what you get them for etc, cant find the post

But how do you get them?

What do you do with them?

What do they mean?

If Tillys came first in heat final at Gloucester

and second in cons final at Morton does she get any?

Where do i write them?

Questions questions questions (but i know someone has the answers :D )

First of all, the points system is confusing  :teehee:

There are two points systems - Whippet News points, and Superstars points. Whippet News points are awarded by the editor of Whippet News, and are collated by Sara Eaton. Superstars points are awarded by the WCRA, and collated by Kim Saxby. Superstars also have a consolation league, but this weeks open wasn't for Superstars points.

Am I confusing you yet Kim? :D :- "

Tilly will get one point for her heat win at Gloucester (counts for one in both WN & Superstars)

She won't score for yesterdays 2nd in consolation final. If it had qualified for Superstars, she would have had 5 points for coming 2nd.

You will see in Whippet News when the opens are advertised, that they normally say which points are awarded for that particular open.

Both points systems work differently, and perhaps someone else will type them out sometime, or maybe you will find Judy's post with them in.

It's way after midnight, and my eyes are closing - night night

Do maidens count for points?

Also is it still right that WCRA affliated clubs that run two straights per year can only get superstars points for one of them? But they get Whippet News Top Ten points for both?

Well I'd hate to disapoint you so here goes -

Superstars

1 for a heat win, nothing for a quarter, 2 for a semi win. Then in the final first gets 6, second gets 5, third gets 4 and fourth gets 3. Nothing for supremes.

Top Ten

1 for a heat win, 1 for a quarter, 1 for a semi. In the Final it goes 6,4,3,2 from first to fourth place.

2 points for a supreme win.

No Superstars or Top Ten points for Maiden groups.

Simple
