The day started with a few sunny spells, and not too cold, but it did turn chillier, and at one time we had a few spots of rain - not enough to spoil the day though. We had a good turnout, and ran in 3 weightgroups, lightweights, middleweights, and heavyweights.

The lightweights ran for the first of the two Do It Yourself trophies

Heats, Milans Dream, WCRCh Devil's Double

Main Final

1st Sonny Jim - obviously back on form after his toe op

2nd WCRCh Devil's Double

3rd Milans Dream

4th Conway Gem

Cons Final

1st Xplicit - the first win for this youngster from the VC Timekeeper x WCRCh Conway Celt litter

2nd Xile

3rd Whiphaven Moondust

The Middleweights ran for the Only Just trophy, which was sponsored by Colin and Jenny Bloxsome many years ago - more than Colin cared to remember!! We were thrilled that Colin was racing with us today so that he could present it to the winner of the final.

Heats, Bee United, Spudice

Main Final

1st Mr Noisy - well done Pat, worth the travel no doubt

2nd Bee United

3rd Spudice

4th Darkling Sandfly

Cons Final

1st Magical Mayhem

2nd Cheap Thrills

3rd Whiphaven Mighty Smidge

The heavyweights ran for the second Do It Yourself trophy

Heats Magical Mistery, Mr Brightside

Main Final

1st Mr Brightside - well done Naomi & Rob - the first win of many I'm sure. Thanks for travelling down to race with us

2nd Devil In Me

3rd Magical Mistery

4th Yagan's Dream

Cons Final

1st Bowan's Dream

2nd Paddy

Congratulations to Judy and Nigel's Hazard who passed his clearing trials with flying colours today - I don't believe I know what his racing name will be - but will no doubt find out in "time"!!!!

Thanks to those who travelled a fair distance to race with us today. Sorry you couldn't make it Lesley and Mark, maybe in a couple of weeks?

Racing as usual next week, book in with Lesley (LJH) by Friday
