after over 50 hours of nonstop rain i awoke today to find no rain so 7am up and away for a hour with the dogs, gets back have my porridge and wooosh its raining again, :sweating:

I seem to get soaked every time I leave the house :(

I am so fed up with the rain :( My dogs love to bury their bones - which is fine as the garden is theirs - but the rain makes them so muddy! We are definitely finishing our garden project this spring - no excuses this year haha - artificial grass all the way.

It's got pretty depressing hasn't it? I know it's generally wetter in winter than in the summer, but if we had a drought for the first 3 months of the year and STILL managed to be the wettest year on record then that's a sign of quite how out of the ordinary the weather over the last few months has been.

At least all the ground water resources will be set up properly for the next couple of years :)

it is depressing , I am back in the UK currently and have never seen a winter like it

we get less rain in Sri Lanka in the Monsoon seasons !

Well, i'm pleased to say it's been a fab day here, sunny bright & warm, more like a spring day. Would be happy if the rest of January were like this................i wish!
