Thank you everyone for your kind words, I had a chat with my vet again late yesterday afternoon and feel a little bit better about what happened. I will pass on your messages to Jay as well when she's feeling a little bit better.

It of course hit harder last night preparing the dogs evening meal without Pippa performing her bow's.
