can you catch a bug of feeding raw meat to yer dogs like chicken wings and lamb bones(loads of meat on them)

as i have had the run,s me head as hurt and all me bones have acked

but was a short bug feeling better now , but it realy battered me yesterday and last night and most of today, cheers savageboy :x

the short answer is YEP!

it's all down to cross contamiation - pretty much anything that comes into contact with raw meat has the potential to pass on food poisoning bugs. touch the meat, touch the door knob.....wash hands, touch the door knob again, make a sandwhich - that'll do it!

my partner's mum passed on salmonella which she had, to my partner, by making a snack and handing it over - just from the bacteria on her hands. an experience not to be repeated :x :x :x

glad you're feeling a bit better today

I agree with what you've said & i'll just add that it comes down to simple hygiene, whether you're handling raw meat for the dogs or for human's,you need to make sure you've washed your hands & cleaned work surfaces & plates/knives etc thoroughly!

cheers for the advice , will not touch anything till i cleaned me knifes and wash me hands starting to feel like an ox again

cheers savageboy.

Hope you get better soon. I was worried about this also so i make sure that they eat in a certain area and then clean it with anti-bacterial wipes, of course you'll need to wash hands and all that.
