Hi Every One,

RCH Big Ron is back from the vets, but it was'nt good news :( Ron had torn his grisalis muscle in two places he had torn it completly away from his pelvis & top part of his groin :( :( he had a operation on it today :( and has to stay on collar & lead for 4 weeks to go for number 1-2s :- " and has to go back to see him on the 25th Feb for a check up.

He had stitched the muscle back as far as possible with a Fibre wire mesh, and stitched the muscle also down the inside of his leg, the stitches will not desolve inside the leg they are permanent, he has quite a few on the outside which have to be removed in 10-12 days, and I will remove them myself :- "

We were told that it was'nt brusing it was internal bleeding, thats why it look so bad :( so now he is on antibiotics & anti- inflamitary tablets for 7 days :(

So take is our up date on Ron. :huggles:

We would like to say thank you to Elaine and John Pollard for the bacon butties and there company today, for putting up with us for 4 hours   guys

So sorry it was bad news for Ron, but he's a big fit dog, and if any dog can come back from an injury like that - it's him. Just keep watching those DVDs, and I'm sure with your TLC he will soon be up and running again.

Lots of love from us all :huggles:

:( Sorry for your bad news :( :luck: for a sound recovery from your little sister Tara and family :luck:

As you will be going with Ron when he needs to go out to do his business here's hoping that it's be dry over Ron's house for the at least the next 4 weeks. At least he can walk outside imagine if you had to carry him (w00t) .

I'm glad that the vet could do something to help Ron and that he's now on the road to recovery again. :huggles: to the lad.

BTW did Reggie have to go into the vets with him to hold his paw?

Yes I'm afraid he did Barbara :( and so did little Stan   :huggles:

I'm glad your boys ran well sunday looking forward to seeing them race together :- "

Just a up date, BJ will be putting some photo's of Rons leg on again today, he is doing rearly well  but it's hard to stop him playing, so on goes the lead and collar  and he knows he must stop
