That sounds great to me, I think if you ask the majority of running dog owners they would say - "If I had enough money I would buy a plot of land and purpose build a track and camping facilities". To get Peds and Lurchers involved too would create a facility available for all big events (though a bit of compromise would be required re. calendar dates etc.) and would mean that a larger team of people could be involved in the up-keep of any facilities.
Does "waste disposal" include showering/toilet facilites for those staying in tents rather than caravans with shower rooms.

I think its a positive way forward Chris, well done and thank you for your hard work in trying to secure the land.

Councils and their land as we all know, are very fickle re-dogs, or as in our interest (racing)....sadly we are not as popular as we would like. I think land to race/camp on for big events ie; championships etc. will become more scarce in the near future, as it gets taken up for development or other council projects, we appear to be less than bottom of any list. So, what we can get from whatever source, to secure the sports future, we must grab with great gratitude.

sorry Ive been late in responding but been on the sick list :x since Thurs and my PC is in my workshop anyhow thats great news Chris well done you'll certainly get all the backing you need from the NNWRF

the owner did tell us when we were there at easter there was a hall we could use for the presentations it isn't licenced however so we would have to look into that cost as well and if we would need a licence if people just brought their own drinks etc
