We have differant bins/bags for everything now in Rochdale,

made me laugh the other week though, we have a bin for plastic bottles/tin cans and a seperate bag for paper/card ect, the Council have said the two types must never be mixed or they wont be collected? the bin men then turned up opened the bin for plastic/cans and emptied the paper bag into the bin? (which the council stated musnt be mixed? it all then went into the same bin wagon?.

yet if wed put the paper in with the plastic/tins bin theyd of refused to empty it?.

are you sure there are not 2 different compartments in one truck? Or maybe they introduce the bins first and only when people get the sorting right they bother to collect separately?
