Here's a photo of today's Beagle vs Whippet race. (Actually, it was a Beagle vs Whippet vs Fox Terrier vs Jack Russel race :lol: )....

Result:

1st Place - Murphy the Beagle

2nd Place - Beanie the Beagle

3rd Place - Titch the Jack Russel

4th Place - Rosie the Whippet

[SIZE=14pt]17 Beagles and a Tibetan Terrier Running Today![/SIZE]

Here's a video clip of the Beagle fun race today.

I think there were 17 Beagles and a Tibetan Terrier racing today! Unfortunatly the heat proved a bit too much for a few of the dogs so by the time it came to the free-for-all there was only 11 running. But great to watch!!!!

Sorry to post this here - it's way off topic. But...

Beanie's getting a little brother in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!

Meet Biggles everyone. He's going to be having a go at racing with his big sister at the start of next season when he's 8 months old.

Yep - that's our Biggles on his back

He is actually Beanie's half brother - same dad. And it's the dad's side of the family that Beanie gets her athleticism from. Beanie and Biggles' granny is quite a little speed demon! The daddy's family live down south where they also have working trials for Beagles and there are some title holders and superb athletes in his pedigree. But like Beanie, Biggles can choose for himself what hobbies he wants to persue --- here's hoping he chooses racing

I don't think Beanie will be racing tomorrow. She's got a head cold and is taking it like a man - in bed, whining, accepting hand feeding only and feeling generally sorry for herself (The vet says she's fine!)
