Thanks to whoever put the jumper pattern up on the site recently. I've been busy knitting, and we are now ready for whatever the weather throws at us! Today she had her walk in this and a coat - the wind is freezing cold down here. Since I had some wool left over I'm doing another one the same. Will put it up on the market place when I've finished.

Can't remember the thread it was on, but it is very simple.

WHIPPET JUMPER

Double knitting wool. Approx 6oz yarn, size 4 mm needles.

(For large whippet/greyhound use chunky wool and larger needles.)

Cast on 76 stitches K1 P1 ribbing for 2 inches

Then stocking stitch to 18 inches including the ribbing

Decrease 1 stitch each side each knit row, to 56 stitches, then work in ribbing K1 P1 for 5 inches which makes collar

Underpiece - Cast on 30 stitches and work in ribbing K1 P1 for 4 inches increase evenly to 36 stitches and still ribbing continue until 9 inches.

Decrease 1 stitch beginning and end of each row to 1 stitch. Cast off

Sew together leaving a hole on either side for whippets front legs to go through

Collar folds back like a turtle neck sweater.

Thats a gorgeous jumper, the colour suits her perfectly

Aw she is so cute cosied up in her jumper. I was going to knit one for Rocco but he is only 10 weeks old and all the patterns are too big. Suppose I could look for a chihuahua size :D
