i have a 2 year old border collie cross (Spaldy), hes alaways been very active and very recently started with a rear leg limp, i checked for pad damage etc and could find nothing. i went to a good local vets and she gave him an examination and said he'd probably pulled a muscle, she gave him painkillers and said he must have no exersize for 6 weeks (just let out to wee etc), he is wiry so weight isn't an issue. He is limping less (3 days after vets) but walks with a 'skip' intermittently and occasionally goes down a bit on his injury side. he really wants to run and play so i can't really let him off the leash for long. Its like he ignores the pain as he loves the run up and down the steep embankments on my local cycle path. This summer we hope to return to snowden and anglesey with Spald where he loves to walk and swim. Has anyone any ideas to help his recovery? Thanx
