could someone please recomend a good place to buy a lamp and/or battery pack (and by good i mean cheap) please?

Arthure Carter is probaly the cheapest for new lamps, he does full pakages for £98 (Lamp/Battery/Charger)

Lurcherbni, just to let you know i posted you back with the infor concerning the lamp. The lamp itself is one of the lazerlite one's with the two bulbs, ie one of the bulbs is used for opening gates, climbing walls etc and the other is the main beam for lamping 1,000,000 candle power. There is the choice of two batteries a 7amp/hr or 10amp/hr all complete with charger. I have changed the connections as i find that the cigarette lighter type can come lose. I am looking £50.00 for the lamp, battery and charger.

PRETTY CHEAP GAZ ,CAUSE MY BATTERY COST ALMOST THAT ,N THAT WAS JUST THE BATTERY .BY THE WAY ,TALKED TO BILLY CRAIG, AND TELLS ME HE'S DOING OK,IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.WAS THINKING OF POPPING THE QUESTION ON THIS SITE ,TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY MORE WHO ARE ON THE SAME WAVE LENGTH AS OURSELVES(.without using names,off course)Thoughts on subject would be valued and appreciated. ....Billy....

the fello i usualy go out with makes his own lamp. just a car spotlight with a piece of brush shaft for a handle and a switch rigged up its a really good job.

Thank you for your kind comments Brian, and you came accross a great guy urself. Your dog looked in great condition especially for this time of the year and i also like a dog who is weary of strangers at first. Hope you have plenty of fun with the lamp. The battery may need charged before you head out. :cheers:
