Never in my life have i so desperately wished i'd been born on the northern side of the US / Canada border.

Why? That would deny you the right to vote for/against a US presidential candidate so that presumably would be to your disadvantage?

I'd much rather be a Canadian than an American who voted against Trump but has to suffer him as president anyway.

I don't know which is more scary - having Trump as US President, or living in a world where it's even possible for Trump to become president

I see what you are saying and (a) I am not in any way supporting him but (b) the Canadians are like us in the rest of the world - stuck with him for however long it takes but with no control over that timescale Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I know what i am trying to say but not expressing it well.

I’m sorry terry but just because it’s a forum for ‘general discussions’ doesn’t mean you can talk about anything and everything. There are limits and politic debates is one of them. I am sure there are other forums where you can voice your opinions about Trump.
