I thought those of you who remember him might like to see an update pic of little Jake, the whippet who came from the pound in Newcastle (w00t)

Here he is with his Mum, enjoying a lovely holiday in the Lakes last month:

and when I called round for a cuppa a couple of weeks back:

I got a cuddle :huggles:

Jake is looking good. Nice scenery too.

Well he's certainly landed on his feet!!!!! Looks so settled in, glad he got such a lovely home - he deserved it

Awww, lovely home for a lovely boy.

What lovely pictures, how could such a lovley dog end up as an unwanted.

Thank goodness his luck has changed, he looks so well and loved now.

What a great ending to a sad beginning

 lovely to see him looking so settled and happy

What a nice life he has now it's so lovely when that happens and especially when get to see it :huggles:

 Someone looks very happy with themselves...

Aww Jake - one happy boy   lovely ending.

Love the photo of Wastwater, my favourite place in the Lakes (met my OH there). I've got a picture of that scene in my living room, I think the hills are Yewbarrow, Great Gable and Lingmell (from memory...could be wrong).

Lucky Jake! Thanks for the update!

I just Lurve a happy ending , dont you ? :D

I never can believe how Whippets end up in animal shelters :( They are such an easy dog to own :) If you can't cope with a Whippet then maybe the only dog you should have is one with batteries (w00t)

Glad to see that Jake has a loving permanent home :D

In the second pic Jake looks like he thinks the same thing too

Lovely boy
