 Teena you really shouldn't wear dark clothes when showing a black. I expect someone mentioned this on the day though.

She's already been told off. But in Teena's defence she had no idea she would be handling Inca when she got dressed in the morning, so I think she can be forgiven

Thank you Jackie for the pics! :huggles:

A good handler knows what to wear. And sometimes it is better to show the same colour as the dog. The handler will know why ....

Because , let's say, your dog has not such a good topline ( this is an example, and has notthing to do with this puppie ) it is better to wear almost the same colour, so the judges don't see the bad topline so very well.

The opposite is also true, when you want to make sure the judge see the good topline or croupe or whatever, show a very falshy colour, against your dog, so every line will shine more ....

Anyway, that's what we learn at our training sessions in Belgium .

Thanks for pic's Jackie

Its something Ive always done . Ive even got club shows too . I love looking back at old pics .

I must add that I didnt take the pics :- " , they were taken by my good friends John and Wendy Foster . . And maybe some dogs werent standing quite as well as if they were being judged . Once in the line up and the results were given out they could all relax  and they arent as `piccy `as me either, Id make all the dogs stand `just right` ;)

Just remembered Id got these of the line up

Dogs first starting with Open , Limit and PG and yearling
