well i thought id update you all on Roma... ...alot of you followed her story when she arrived with me last October in a terrible state :( a bag of bones and the vet didnt know if she would pull through

well i had decided to keep her here with us as she is such a fantastic dog  who loves everyone, she put lots of weight on with me and really came out of her shell ;) even enjoying a trial at racing (w00t)

at the Easter open this year Jane Rankin spoke to me about a family looking for a dog....Jane thought Roma fitted the bill ;)

after a few problems with Smudge (shes anti anything that's not a full whippet!) i rang Liz and her family to see if we could meet and talk about Roma.

i arranged for them to visit on good Friday....after cancelling them twice  as i could not bring myself to part with her

they finally visited with their collie dog Blackie

Roma and Blackie hit it off and a friendship was formed

Liz and her family are fantastic people and have given Roma a family of her own........i missed her so much at first but with every text i get (mostly 1 a week) and piccy on my phone...i know i did the best thing for Roma....and shes spoilt rotten (w00t)

she is due to start her dog training classes in September but is enjoying a holiday at Chatsworth house, and so far her and blackie have walked almost 150 miles :sweating: :sweating: with their family

so here is Roma a couple of weeks after she arrived with me
