I was thrilled that the boys new Roo collars have arrived from Linda (Kirislin) :D :D

Despite me having to drag them out of their beds this morning for a touch of modelling - they did an okay job :D But they said they normally don't get out of bed for less than 2 pigs ears!!

You must be very pleased at last :- " they look great

Ooh, they're nice. How does the fastening work, then? It looks like one ring looped over the other... :)

Just tooooo handsome, well worth them getting out of bed for they look gorgeous

They are really lovely collars, love the colour

Yep, one is through the other. They go on over their heads, the reason I wanted them is they put that bit of extra pressure on the neck which gives better control hopefully

What is nice is the roo hide I chose is the very fine hide which is really soft and so light I don't imagine the dogs even realise they are on! But its also really strong

For anyone interested they worked out about £38 for both collars and postage from oz, which is pretty damn good I think :D Thanks Linda :huggles: :huggles:

I can't believe that you dragged those poor tired boys out of bed just to do a photo shoot (w00t)

Can't you!!! really!!! (w00t) (w00t) They have no right to sleep when there are photos to be taken

They did ahve all day off yesterday because I went to Dartmoor Hawking for the day - so lots of photos of beautiful birds later

Lovely photos  They do look sleepy in them though -_- cruel mum

They look gorgeous  May just have to order one myself :- "

awwwwwwww they both look very handsome indeed with their new collars

They are great and do give an extra measure of security. They're like a half-slip, but rather than closing up all the way and choking, they are made to the width of your dog's neck and will stop where the leather gets wider, so only tighten to JUST the right place.

Jo - hmmmm more control..... You should've seen my two on their trip to Scotland. Didn't stop them pulling and playfighting on lead whatsoever!!

But I LOVE those collars! The dark leather looks really nice on the boys.

Wendy

They are just what I want for Bertha, Django and Ronan but had a couple of hefty Vet's bills just recently so they are going to have to wait for a little while!!!

Those poor boys didnt stand a chance...new camera and new collars.....

PMSL at their closed eyes -_-

The collars do look good - and it's not long till Star is 2 (w00t)

Do we just PM Kirslin if we want one...or two....

Lovely collars Jo - they look so handsome in them.   ..... I bet they are thinking wish she'd put that camera down just for one minute. :- "

I dont know how I missed this thread as I'd been watching out for when they arrived! That was pretty quick, less than a week I think. Cant quite remember when I posted them but it wasn't long ago.

They look beautiful, I think you chose well getting the dark for your boys. I should mention that there is a right & a wrong way to put them on, just like chokers they need to go on the right way. It should be that just say if your whippy is on your left then the part that you attach the lead to should come over the back of the neck, not underneath. Does that make sense? Thanks for posting the pics, I'm very happy that they look so good on them.

Linda

I explained this to hubby the way someone else explained to me - when you put it over their heads the collar should be a 'P'. Even HE grasped that concept LOL

Wendy! that's brilliant!

Thankyou, I'll use that in the future.
