Hi i just thought it would be interesting to know what everyone does with their rossettes. I wouldnt mind a few ideas.

earings?...........ive got em in all colours to match lots of outfits!

(sorry ....couldnt resist)

:) sorry - just my sense of humour - apologies!

i pin mine up in my kitchen - higher than yours though as theyd be eaten otherwise

 that was only for the camera. I used to have mine on the wall in the spare bedroom but we switched rooms didnt want them in our room whilst taking them down they took half the paint aswel which didnt please my boyfriends mum!! So i just wandered where else i could put them?

We have boxes full of them. Sentiment for our older dogs plus you think of the cost to get them.

Some of the newer ones, won by dogs we have let go, somebody had them and they took the middles out and had for companion shows.

Oh i see recycling as well sound good if you have HEAPS of them! Dont have that much yet. I wandered about a box at least they would lie flat.

ALL ON THE WALL IN MY TROPHY ROOM AND TOO LARGE DISPLAY GLASS UNITS FOR ALL THE TROPHIES.

oh sorry I misinterprated what you meant.

Mine stay on a welsh dresser type cabinet for some considerable time. I 'cleared the decks' only last week to keep just this years on display. Hope to fill soon

ive just moved so mine are all in a box ( somewhere!!)

- you deserve to have loads your dogs are beautiful

x

My firsts and higher are on pin boards some got whippeted (w00t) (w00t) the other are up in my grooming room but they get a bit hairy so will need to box them. I like looking at them some of them have such good memory of my first two whippets Zig Zag and Mouse

I have Rags on a pin board in the utility room this picture was taken a while back,

I have mine on cork pin boards. 2nd and 3rds together and the higher ones 1sts froup placing and 1 best in show together

i had 2 blank walls in the hall which i have now started to fill, where ill put them after that i dont know lol!! when i was showjumping my mum used to pin the rosettes so only the middles showed and i managed to get over 2000 round a small room (w00t)

Frankie's tickets have been framed and are up on the wall. BOB, BPIB rosettes and champ show firsts we keep and then others we tend to give back to the secretary as we leave, so that they can be reused the next year. Not got room to put them all on display unfortunately, so better that they can be used again than be stuffed in a drawer :)

I've given a load to my son's nursery - the kids love using them to play with. (after the pins have been taken off the back of course)

I don't like hoarding, so don't keep many. We have a large utility room where the dogs beds are. Frankies ticket and reserves are framed on the wall and then we have one pinboard with a selection of rosettes from nice wins.

The Christmas tree idea is rather novel!

If anyone has any surplus rosettes that they no longer require, the PAT dog charity would love to have them. They replace the centres and reuse them at their dog shows. A worthwhile cause.

If you have any to donate please PM me.

Debbie
