So sorry to hear your sad news. :( She looked a lovely girl. At least she was much loved and well looked after during her twilight years. :huggles:  :huggles: My thoughts are with you and Bea.

RIP little Rosie.

Rosie looked like a lovely little girl... She must have had some lovely years with your friend. R.I.P. Rosie :(

I'm so sorry, she looks like a very special girl

Sweet dreams, little Rosie :huggles:

RIP Rosie

So sorry to hear this news :huggles: to you and Bea.

Sorry to learn of Rosie's passing. I have a cocker similar colours to Rosie. She's called Annie and she runs with the whippets, or tries to. Best wishes to you all

Thank you so much to every message of sympathy, which, of course,I've shared with my friend.

We are still numb, and it is so strange with no Rosie dancing round our feet and doing her 'whirligigs' to attract our attention - and hopefully be 'paid' with a treat :- "

I took her little body to the vets yesterday morning (we are not allowed to bury pets in our gardens - we live in Park homes) and before I went, I let the whippets say goodbye to her. They both sniffed all around her head very gently (she was still oozing a bloody fluid- from her lungs, I think) and then got down and walked back into the house. So far they haven't been searching for her, but Bea and Lily were over at our place yesterday evening. It will be interesting to see if they look for her in her own house this evening.

She had over 4 happy years with us. Her life before that is largely unknown, but she was found wandering and injured (probably kicked) in Maidstone before the rescue centre took her. She was deaf, and had a heart murmur (I believe most KCs do) but she was a happy girl during her time with us. The vet reckons she was about 12-13 when she died. She never knew how to play with toys etc, so probably had a poor puppyhood. The vet thought she may have been used for breeding - she was petite and very pretty markings- by some unscrupulous person who chucked her out when she was finished with. :(

We are glad she is a peace and no longer suffering, but we DO miss her so much :(
