hi all nice to see everybody standing up for rottweilers i have 7 and breed them mine are all very good temperment all they know is love and they give so much love back . i know my dogs are safe but i wound not leave a child with them i do trust my dogs but i would rather be safe than sorry .rotties get bad press all the time and its not the dogs fault it owners rotties get in bad hands .i have sold pups and never had to rehome any or got bad reports of the pups new owners infact they ask if we will breed again .i just like to say thanks to all who stod up for the breed DENIKA ROTTWEILERS

lynn , your dogs are lovely :wub: and you have the correct attitude , they are good tempered but you know the risks so wouldnt place a dog in that position, full credit to you :thumbsup:

ive gotta say ive always had a soft spot for rotties, my jack russell plays with 2 in the park and they r the biggest softest lummocks ive ever met.

Sadly lots of people are handing rotties into rescue due to the bad press coverage

I can't believe people who really know and love their dogs could be persuaded to give them up because of negative press coverage, but one rescue reported that parents with rotties are having loads of pressure put on them by friends and family to get rid of their dogs. It's so sad, these are dogs who have done absolutely nothing wrong, some of them just puppies.

We really need people like you who obviously know and love the breed to show the positive side and what wonderful dogs they can be.

we have 2 denika rottweilers as family pets, i have 4 brothers and sisters ranging from 3 yrs-18yrs we also have 4 whippets an we all live as one big happy familly, my mum and dad have kept rotties since i was a baby.

Good on you, wot lovely dogs. I have always wanted one but my house isn't big enough for two whips a golden retriever and a rottweiler. but one day I will win the lotto and buy a castle so I can fulfill that dream.

Just like to add, we have a rotti next door to us called George. He is getting on a bit now but he is fab. He loves our kids and my dogs to.

I wish the press would get of there band wagon again. lets face it its not the first time they have got things totally wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :angry: :rant:
