Thanks for your lovely replies... Oh and I've managed to get some more photos which I'll post later on today. I had to sit her up on the wall to get her to stay still for 20 secs til I took them! I've no idea how people get those stacked (is that the right word?) photos of wee pups, must be nearly impossible.

Wow she really does look like Tally  doesn't she, maybe they're relatives. I think she's also the spit image of her daddy... Moonlight Dancer aka Wee Dan. We hope to meet up with him, mum (Blue Gemini Girl aka Jess) and lil' sis Roxy at the Caledonian Thistle Whippet racing club fun day in August (I think it's the 20th)... so if you're listening Irene, Maggie and Graham!

She's really come on in the past week, her legs all finally work in unison and she has nearly stopped chasing the cats o:) (she just wants to hug them), appart from the one who wants to be chased! They're amazingly fast even at this early age aren't they... I can take my eye off her for a second and next thing she's at the bottom of the garden.

Another funny thing, we bought her loads of proper puppy toys before she arrived and at the minute her favourite toys are half an old gardening glove she found under the hedge in the garden and a manky old piece of knotted climbing rope :p ?

Congrats on your first Whippet, she is lovely and I love the name Ruby. Sapphire would be nice for the next one. :huggles: :D

Made me laugh. Dolly was the same - she preferred empty toilet rolls and kitchen rolls to expensive toys. Bobby used to love chewing plastic plant pots when he was a pup.

Reminds me of my children when they were toddlers, a cardboard box or a few saucepans kept them amused for hours!!
