Firstly I have to apologise that my diary is late :b Sorry to all those who have sent my mum pm’s, there is no excuse for her really  She mislaid her connection lead which meant she couldn’t download photos for days. She has also forgotten to take her camera on many a trip recently, regularly omitted to charge batteries etc, etc and has been warned that this slackness will have to be addressed if she is to continue getting any Stripey love :- "

Therefore this will be a slightly lacking diary as far as photographic evidence of my adventures most recently, but I hope you will still enjoy it.

If she wasn’t so nice to me I think I might have to try and trade her in……

As per normal, I am still very handsome and quite happy to pose for the camera o:)

I’ve been playing lots in the garden, and I’m loving all this sunshine we’ve had recently 8)

DSCF5708.jpg

No let up on the recall training, she’s got me retrieving as well now

DSCF7167.jpg

This is my mum’s favourite photo at the moment………

DSCF7172.jpg

Woooohooooo here we go......

Talking of sunshine, we went to the beach!!!!!!

Loads of photos of this trip, although I have to say it didn’t start off that well…

My mum said there’d be a shop with buckets and spades and ice cream and everything. We went into the car park and my mum paid her money to get through the barrier. We stopped in a nice place, and walked to the shop.

Shock horror, it was shut

DSCF7112.jpg

So we all got in the car again, and drove off. We managed to find another shop open thank goodness :sweating: and I got myself a really cool bucket and spade (w00t)

DSCF7115.jpg

DSCF6931.jpg

So back we went through the barrier again, and more money! The beach we went to was West Wittering

DSCF6802.jpg

The big boys did most of the running, but I had a few romps too. Just look how much Jacob was enjoying himself…..

DSCF6848.jpg

We all did lots of mooching

DSCF6847.jpg

DSCF6831.jpg

DSCF6916.jpg

DSCF6881.jpg

DSCF6823.jpg

There were a few full on running sessions…..

DSCF6860.jpg

DSCF6856.jpg

DSCF6871.jpg

The cold wet stuff had a strange effect on my ears

DSCF6862.jpg

I followed the boy as close as I dared

DSCF6869.jpg

Then this happened, brrrrrr….

DSCF7099.jpg

I decided to leave the boys to it, and do some construction work, so I got my bucket and spade sorted

DSCF7061.jpg

DSCF7055.jpg

I filled it up with sand. This was quite difficult, but not as hard as tipping it over without the sand falling out…..

DSCF7077.jpg

I gave it a good old nose dab to loosen it all up :))

DSCF7079.jpg

Voila! I asked Jacob for his opinion…

DSCF7083.jpg

I won’t be asking him again  all he did was mush it up….

DSCF7084.jpg

I did a bit of investigating, as there’s loads of nice things to smell on the beach

DSCF6840.jpg

DSCF6823.jpg

DSCF6883.jpg

Jake found some really cool stuff

DSCF6828.jpg

DSCF7006.jpg

We built a mound with a moat and everything :- "

DSCF7002.jpg

Can you spot me doing my recall here as well o:)

DSCF7019.jpg

We met these on the beach, please note, no whippets in view o:) My previous socialisation stood me in good stead, as I wasn't phased at all

DSCF6875.jpg

I’ve decided I’d like one of these huts for my birthday, then I can come back loads of times and leave my stuff here ready for me!

DSCF7108.jpg

We had a lovely picnic, chicken and turkey necks, scrummy

DSCF6940.jpg

DSCF6946.jpg

and had a good sniff around

DSCF6953.jpg

Jake got told off though :- "

DSCF6956.jpg

I just amused myself again with my bucket :clown:

DSCF6984.jpg

I sat thinking about how much I would like to go back to the beach soon

DSCF6992.jpg

I’ve been near some other water as well, but we weren’t allowed in this canal :x

DSCF7117.jpg

DSCF7122.jpg

Bit of a shame really, I think these guys would have liked to play with me :p

DSCF7125.jpg

Since my last update I’ve discovered the delights of the public house, and something called a Pub Lunch :D

DSCF7151.jpg

DSCF7150.jpg

They do a nice steak here..

DSCF7144.jpg

My mum finally let me go racing with Mr Winx

We arrived and it was quite noisy. We all went for walk and then we had to stay in our crates while mum got organised

DSCF6673.jpg

I didn’t mind this, and enjoy sharing with Jakey :huggles:

DSCF6674.jpg

If I get bored, he keeps me amused :- "

DSCF6676.jpg

This was a great day, although Miss Edee wasn’t there that day :( I did get to meet a lovely little chap called Logan, he was great fun :clown:

DSCF6677.jpg

DSCF6678.jpg

DSCF6679.jpg

I didn’t quite get the point of the racing at first, and just sat watching

DSCF6687.jpg

Then I realised it was quite exciting after all :- "

DSCF6689.jpg

I couldn’t quite get near enough to the lure though

DSCF6683.jpg

Mr Winx was very excited and my mum said he did very well, he went all the way through into the final

DSCF6294.jpg

cracking pics!loved the ones of him with his little red bucket and spade! :D

I’ve still been going to training, and my mum was very proud that I graduated. She’s enrolled me in the next class up, but more on this next time :- "

My trainer said I had to have a special prize for being the ‘sexiest’ puppy in the class. I got very excited about this, but when I realised it was a copy of ‘How to have the Perfect Puppy’ my enthusiasm waned a bit -_-

My mum also got another award for services rendered, since she has administered the Heimlich manouvere and resuscitation on one puppy that got a treat lodged in its throat and passed out, and bandaged up someone else’s foot when they cut it in the car park having a wee. She got another Gwen Bailey book for that, but said could she have money off the next course. The trainer laughed, but I think she was a bit worried that my mum was serious 8)

DSCF6801.jpg

I’ve been to ringcraft again, and I really quite like some of this now. My mum’s got it into her head that we only have to do a couple of turns on the table and one triangle and then we can just sit and chat, cool! I get to meet quite a few different dogs, and I am practising looking good o:)

DSCF6697.jpg

DSCF6700.jpg

The highlight of last week was I met up with my sister Silk. She was very pretty

Yes, it’s true, I had the socialisation experience and went with my mum to Discover Dogs on Friday. Whilst there I quickly realised that if I was to enjoy the day, I had to take the Comfy Chair a bit sharpish (w00t)

DSCF6637.jpg

After all, why would a puppy stand up all day saying hello to people :- "

Shocks for me this time…..My mum has blonde put in her hair  I thought she was like me, naturally stunning, but it turns out a lady comes to her house and sticks loads of smelly stuff and foil on her head. I enjoyed looking through her bag though :teehee:

DSCF6469.jpg

Shocks for her…….Don’t leave puppies unattended, even if you’re only in the kitchen on the phone

DSCF6690.jpg

Highlight of the diary has to be from this Monday evening. We went to ringcraft and it all looked funny. My mum went a sort of green colour :x but someone made her write some stuff down on a piece of paper as she was trying to back out of the door.

It turns out that they were having something called a Match, and there was a class for 12 week to 6 month puppies, and they made her enter. She thought what the hell, it’ll be experience

There was a very nice lady who took some pics for my mum. It was a class of eight, and this is me waiting for the judge to look at me

RusoLineup.jpg

This is me on the table. My mum was very proud of me as I was very good and stood nicely while the judge felt all over me, After that I just had to walk in a triangle and then up and down o:)

RusoTable1.jpg

The nice lady didn’t get a picture of my mum nearly passing out when the judge came up to her and said ‘You please madam’ (w00t) but here’s one of me on the table with my rosette and trophy for winning the class.

DSCF7199.jpg

I just hope she was paying attention when the judge (who has borzois) came up to her afterwards and told her she had a very nice puppy.

For some strange reason my mum still hasn’t stopped smiling, and it’s been three days now

Catch up with you all soon. I promise to make my mum try harder with her photos

SBSD Rossette Winner

Fantastic result at the puppy match as well, the first of many I'm sure

Keep on updating us, loving it. See you on the 8th for the charity open?
