Thanks to everyone for their thoughts on our loss of Holly, we love all our dogs very much but George adored Holly she was the kind of dog that he always let take more than the usual inch, we all know the kind, she was the one that was allowed on the bed she travelled in the front or back seat of the car no cage for Holly, she was a special kind of whippet,we were able to leave her minus lead while racing was going on and she would lie quietly without so much as a bark only taking interest when she entered the traps.

All of these things made Holly a special dog and we will miss her very much.

We have been lucky however in being able to keep her line going and at present she has many grandchildren who will hopefully make the track next year. George and I hope that all those who have youngsters out of her line get as much joy from them as we got from owning an extraordinary bitch like Holly to us she was a star.
