Had some sad news at Horden today, John Midgely's Real Deal (Master Blaster x Ghd) broke his neck while free running yesterday. John said he ran into a concrete post at his local Cricket ground. Budgie was only two & half, but he was Top Dog at Horden in 2006. Our thoughts are with John, James & Sam. RIP Budgie

Oh no :( I'm absolutely gutted for him, the dog was getting better with every run on the bends, it was only last week we ran against him :( Such a lovely bloke too. Lenny please pass on our condolences to John

Thinking of you all :(

Only heard this sad news at our presentation last night. Budgie was also top dog at Dawdon. I would have loved to have said something while giving John his trophy but couldn't trust my self not to cry at such sad news. Our hearts go out to john and his family. R.I.P Budgie.
