Sam has got to have an op on Wednesday to removed a lump between his shoulders, this started out a few months ago and the vet said it was a small cyst, over the last few days its ballooned to the size of a goose egg, (w00t) we took him to the vet yesterday and he said to take him in first thing on Wednesday, so fingers crossed for my best boy. :huggles:

Poor Sam, when the vet first saw it they said they didnt think it was anything to worry about but to just watch it.

unfortunaly over the last 2-3 days its gone from the size of a pea to the size of a goose egg, so the vets going to take him in Wednesday (our vet only works 1 day a week now and he wants to do it himself rather than 1 of his partners) so hes having it removed Wednesday morning at 9.30am.

Could he have knocked it recently

The vet checked it about 3 months ago when it was the size of a pea and thought it was just a fatty deposit and said not to worry but monitor it.

a few days ago it started to grow at an alarming rate so we took him in again Saturday to see our own vet (within a group practice) he's now going to remove the lump and investigate further Wednesday.
