Poor Lionel ( Deneside Cruz) gave us a real fright yesterday... Beautiful day here by the coast, so I went to take all the dogs swimming. Beach has kids, sunbathers, and people do fish.. . There was a bloke fishing 15yrd away, cast right out. While I was getting ready, the dogs are all sniffing something and before I get a chance to see... Greedy guts has swallowed it. The stupid C*** has thrown away a line with hook and bait :angry: . Lionel looked like a tuna fish! Line still hanging out his mouth! All he can say is "sorry"" can't you take him to the pdsa?" Good job the thick mouthy girlfriend shut up! Got him rushed to the vets, they operated straight away.. sadly it had gone to his stomach, so they couldn't just hook it out. Had to cut him open. :unsure: :unsure:

Anyway, got him back late last night... and he's all ok..

Just sooo grateful that the line was still attached... otherwise wouldn't have known what he'd swallowed!

He would have be a gonna looking at that hook!

So be careful when you walk ya dogs on the beach... there are idiots out there.

Oh dear, there really are some real idiots out there :rant: . Im glad you got him back safe and sound even if you did have to take out a mortgage ( been there done that :sweating: ). Get well soon lad so we can see you back on the track :thumbsup:
