Sardines In Tomato Sauce

Does anyone buy the basic Asda sardines in tomato sauce?If we shop there we buy a load of them because they are only 17p each the cheapest i,ve seen them,most of them are about 35p a tin.The only problem with them they have no pull ring,and even trying to open them with a good can opener is a pain,the amount of times the sauce gets quirted everywhere :lol: I don't mind paying a few more pence if they put a pull ring on :thumbsup:

i used to buy the tescos value one Dawn, but had the same problem :wacko: so i know buy tescos own brand which has a pull ring :thumbsup:

Don't seem to have the value one at the Tescos near us Ithink they should have the pull rings,how would a OAP manage?

Yes the Corn Beef,the key is a load of rubbish,i end up using the tin opener.

I buy them for the dogs, and just the other day, I did a taste test Asda sardines are bigger but more oily, and the Tesco ones are smaller, but less oily and tastier - only the best taste for my whippies :thumbsup: Every time I open them, the tin always snaps in the last bit, and flicks tommy sauce over me :teehee:
