Who is going to SCCA this week??

We aren't going as:-

1. It is too far

2. 50p isnt old enough yet.

Good Luck to all who are there though Hope it is as nice a day as today - well maybe just a little bit cooler.

Awkward *%**%*'s aren't we exhibitors? We dont like it hot as the dogs pant and become lethargic, dont like it cold as the dogs tuck-up and wont show. Well these are my excuses anyway LOL.

Nice venue, easy to get to only complaint was how far the toilets were :b

Some of the whippets were certainly flagging in the heat. Felt really sorry for the bitches by the time they got in the sun was blazing down. Jan

We were there!!!! It WAS HOT! But it was a really good day - topped by Savvy getting 3rd in Novice Bitch for which we are very proud!

So when is the meet in Blackpool taking place??

Me, the Family and dogs are looking to go to a show or meeting for the first time and a trip to Blackpool would be good. Do you know any places that will allow us all to stay at over a weekend??

Also, how do you folks know when meetings are taking place, is there a list somewhere that you could point me towards.

The Blackpool Ch Show is 21st June. You won't be able to take the dogs in though - only entered dogs can go in. Also, they won't have a tent outside that you can leave the dogs (we asked because we have a mix that we can't take in and our dogsitters were away that week).

Definitely worth taking the family to a few shows though - and Blackpool was a nice show last year (in spite of the weather LOL)

For someone who didnt know if they wanted to show you have done really well and lets hope the winning streak continues!!

Dont know whether Wendy has already posted this on here but Aphrael Aoife (Savvy) went BIS on two consecutive weekends just before Southern Counties!!!!!!
