Well we are overwhelmed with the responce to this stunnin wee guy, Ted ( Your Next ) he would love to say a huge thank you very much to everyone BUT is wondering what all the fuss is about, Teds a wee racing whippet and unfortunately had a wee freak accident whilst running at the 3rd Nationals, Ted never meant to break his leg--it was"nt his fault AND it definately was NOT the fault of any of his racing buddies from down south, the wonderful vet who operated on Ted said its a 100% operation AND theres no reason why he shouldnt race again--which i was delighted with---And after heading back to Stonehouse to tell Emma the good news Emma just gave me a glare and whispered in my ear---Scott dear-- Ted will never race again untill hes at least a veteran AND ive agreed, so really i couldnt argue cause after all Ted is Emmas Boy, she picked him in the litter and i picked Bertie ( Hes MY Brother ) But its somethin to look forward to in 4 years time--Racin wee Ted Again, veteran racin looks fun fun fun, i watch all yous oldies racin your old Whips and yous just LOVE IT, i"ll be in my early 50s by then and i"ll mingle wif yous guys and hav mega fun, now back to the day it happened, id like to thank everyone that was there that day, dont think there was a person that wasnt concerned, id say within 4 to 5 mins of the break He was rushed into a superb ladys car called Donna, and within 8 to 9 mins he was in the vets, and i thank Donna so so much for her quick responce in getting the pain away from this wee dog, the vet was fab, Donna runs non peds at Old Hall :thumbsup: On coming back from the vets and back to the track, someone had went round everyone of you superb racing people and a kitty had been gathered to help pay Teds vet bill, well i can tell yous that there was well over £100s, Which Me & Emma applaud yous for--Thank yous so much friends, they say when a bad thing happens--a good thing comes out of it--and we wer CHUFFED when Teds sister ( My Girl Lollipop ) won her half coat, so a good ending on the day and my own breeding, well done Pam Tam and all winners on the day.! We"l pop on now & Again and update yous with Ted, but for now thanks again and let your Whips fatten up through the winter.! That's great news Scoobs, the Heatons had a dog who came back from a broken leg to race again, so fingers crossed for Ted Veteran racing is brilliant, and we have had some of our best fun in racing the oldies.

The Old Hall racers were brilliant in many ways, and did us proud on the day :cheers:

Hi Scott and Emma,,Im so happy he is doing well. Will be make the track or be a full time pet?

Our dogs are full time pets now,,you would never know them,,both have put weight on Robbie is not skinny now and gizmo is a wee pig. I leave the food down 24/7,,they eat when they want to. Gizmo might be a dad next year,,but I do want to got both done,,lol,,Robbie is retired from stud,,he got enough pups and Gizmo is getting too big for his boots,,so might sneek both to the vet,,John would never know lol

Hope yous a re all well,,I cant walk till,,but roll on summer
