Hi

Thanks for putting all the details on, will there be a veteran scratch derby race again this year, hope so.

We really enjoyed last year and really looking forward to coming up again this year :)

Just a quick update. Arthur has just had a meeting with the new owners of the pub and they have sorted out entertainment for every night of the week and is awaiting confirmation of the restuarant opening times. There has also been some stuff sorted for the kids. I will post the details when they are finalised. Hope to see lots of you there this year

Gil

just a quick question has its been bugging me for a year since it was mentioned
i know scottish derby and the highland derby is diffrent meeting sort of speak ( but the same ),,,,i,e diffrent era

but the question came up last year i.e what distance dog,s were running at kirkcaldy derby,,,i said 160 or 165 yrd front dog,,,the question is what did they run at dingwall ????? its been bugging me as it was mention at that point it was 175yrd,,,,but to be honest i cant remember as i only went up 3 times , twice racing in pups and once in adults,,,its been bugging me cos i cant remember,,,cos i was a teenager then i was too busy looking at the ladies sunbathing,,,cant remember the distance dog,s were running :D

any the oldies remeber ?????
the very first derby was 150 yds front dog 1983

than it was changed to 161 yards front dog and 150 yards front dog for pups and 150 yards for veterans, the no limit scr was 181 yards
