OK COME ON ALL :D WHICH SCRATCH DOGS DO YOU THINK WILL WIN AT THE ENGLISH DERBY.....SEE IF YOU CAN COME UP WITH NO LIMIT, 36LB, 40LB WINNERS....... :p

 well i got to go for my own dog mickey whizz for the no limits but I hope Whisper Whizz puts in a good perfomance too. 40lb Pems Lad or Simpson but watch out for the youngster No Surrender (he normally 40lb) There is not a 36lb scratch class Pat. I love the scratch racing but I normally miss it with racing my own dog! Good luck to all the scratch racers. :luck: :luck: :luck:

I reckon No Limit Mickey Whizz & 40lb Pems Lad

I didn't think there was 36lb class?

:D all classes are on saturday tony so the scratch will be first on Saturday. See what I mean about it should be run as weighed? No limits should be over 40lb. 40lb should be over 35lb and yes your right Vicky there isnt a 36lb class. I didnt realise Yell was a no limit??? :luck:

I presume that all other weight groups will be run to completion on Saturday. So if I was to take a 34lb dog for example it would run its class heats and class final on Saturday - 2 runs and then on Sunday run in the semi-finals and final ( obviously if it's going through to the final the dog can't be one of mine ;) )

If I take a 39lb dog will it run just the heats on Saturday and the class final be run on Sunday or will the 40lb class be run to completion as the other weight class's are?

 erm you have lost me a bit there tony. The first part of what you said is right. The scratch I can tell you what happened last year (coz i dont realy understand your question) Last year the no limts was 2 heats on the Saturday and the final was run on the Sunday, which is only the 1st out of each heat to go in the final. There is no supreme scratch (which is a shame :( ) Hope thats been of some help to u. What 39lb er r u running? ;)

:D nearly forgot there is also consolation racing on sun this includes scratch consolation.

I meant bitch really :clown:

Sherry,

Thanks. Thats what I thought. Which means being there for both days (assuming heat win) , which I can't see happening in our case. I was thinking of running Moonpie.

 didnt realise Moonpie was so heavy and you never know in scratch racing whats going to win as anything can happen. Then you have got the consolation so if you had to go for both days you could enter the consolation just as much fun. :luck: :luck: :luck:

moonpies quite a big girl, we've put weight on her and she's running alot better.

she is bigger than her mum hobgoblin.

i think we'll probably go mondays open instead of the derby

get her run tony more runners the better ;) if your not in it you cant win it :p
