Hi, hope you can help. I will try not to go on and on.
We took on another bitch which was a litter sister to our girl. She was 18 mths old when we got her. We struggled with house training as she never had any and wee’d in her cage!!
Finally started to go well but now we think we have a separation anxiety as this bitch has started to wee and poo in the house when we are not home. We even at times leave the front door open for the dogs to go into the garden and she still does it. Husband and I work opposite shifts so we don’t leave our dogs for long but even 1 hr, I end up coming home to a mess!!
I don’t know what to try anymore!! Do you think in the time from husband leaving to go to work and me getting home we should cage her?

Just don’t want to upset her but also need to get this sorted!! Please help

How long have you had her? And does she still wee in her cage?

If so, I'm not sure it would help, she'd only be forced to lie initially then you'd need to clean her up too.

We have had her 10 mths. She is not caged at all with us. I just dont know how to get on top of this for the best to her and us!!

If she isn't caged, doing that might cause her even more distress.

We have a helpful piece here, maybe start by reading that and the links in it but please do come back to us with questions or if you think anything doesn't fit. The reading is just a starter, not intended to fob people off.
