Can anyone give advice as to the best way to settle your dog into his new home?

Also any cures for howling at night.

Hi,

if you go to the FAQ section, I'm sure there is a topic on there that will give you loads of good ideas to help with the settling in and calming down at night.

Howling, do what i did and howl with it, or better still do what squizzle racing suggests and put the pup in your room at night in a cage

Their is no `cure` for howling at night you have to teach him that by howling he gets no attention. Its best to ignor it and it should settle down if not try giving them something to do like a pigs ear to eat etc. Its best to give them no attention as that only rewards the howling therefore making it more persistant
