Kai was realy interested, had a job to get all 5 of them away. :sweating:

Why should it offend anyone, she is just doing what she was bred for , and what generations of whippets and other sighthounds have been bred for. Well done!!!!!!

Some people might not like to see a dead bunny.

Lots of people see things different

Went back to the woods today, no more bunnies yet.

But the dead one was still laying in the field (w00t)

They went straight for it, Beau Belle decided to bring it on our walk :x

After a while she put it down, and Jay another bitch went up to have a tug and all hell broke out.

The 2 bitches had a fight over the bunnie, Ho got them apart no seriouse injurys.

A puncher wound and scratches, Then they tried to go at each other again

Now all is calm they are laying cuddling each other, :huggles: the mind boggles ;)

What a waste!! you could have done the decent thing and took it home for your dogs to eat, not sure it`s a good idea to leave dead rabbits hanging around, might upset the local antis!!!

Agree! Also you found out the consequences of them finding it again!! Unfortunately, we do not have bunnies around here but mine often catch tree bunnies which I dispose of either in the thickest bramble bush I can find or the river. Deer are a trifle more difficult to dispose of!!! Then we usually go a different route for a couple of days by which time it will have been eaten by the local wildlife!

Mollee caught a seagul the other week :) on the racecourse and I had a right job getting the other 6 whippets that were with me to leave it alone , No way could I have carried it anyway., they were all leaping up at it , and I certainly dont know how to cook seagull  I did leave it on the field hoping the foxes would take it , but it was still there 2 days later , and the `gang` never bothered with it at all  they just walked straight by it .

Well done on her first `kill

Hey,well done Beau belle

I remember when Flyn caught his first rabbit ,there was no way he was going to let the others anywhere near it.

He got well out of their way & ended up shaking it to bits & had entrails stuck all over him :x
