A friend recently won BIS at their breed open show (not Whippets) and has asked if the points count towards the SHCM I said that I didn't think that they did but someone else told her that yes they did. I can't find anything in the KC red book about it, can anyone help?

Try JAX, she has it on Libbee, so should be able to give you a definite answer.

Someone told me that the criteria for Sh CM and JW is on the Kennel Club website, if any one can find where it is, please let me know. I think the KC should win an award for worst website!!!!!!!!!!!!

It does for a Group show. I would suspect that BIS in a single Breed would count as the 1 point for BOB

Oops Just re-read the form. It's General and Group Open Shows. You can download a form from the KC site, or I can email you one.

I dont think it counts as more than one point ,same as for Best of breed , Shame really isnt it )
