Firstly this is such a beautiful cocker you have there!!

We are cockerholics and we've had over the years two show, two working and er, our present boy, known in the family as NFN, Normal for Norfolk! We saw his mum, we believe- a very small black show-type. His dad was an Irish imported cocker (we have pedigree) in which there were both show and working strains. What we have is the biggest, leggiest, most prey-driven working boy we've ever seen.He is a delight but an absolute throwback!

Didn't want to highjack your thread so I've posted ours on a new thread 'Whatever he is we love him.'

You are welcome to hijack my thread :D your dog sounds lovely. Teddy is meant to be a show type but is quite leggier and more athletic looking than show type pups. I'll see if I can find a picture of his dad. His mum was a black and white show type and his dad a golden cocker.

I think this is his dad. The breeder showed me the pictures of him but since they don't keep in contact I had to google search the advert of the puppies that were left.

I would say he was a "Show type" ! It's difficult, as some pictures tell lies.
