Twiggy is 60 days into her pregnancy and has started to leak milk today.Is this a sign of things about to happen? She has very loose poo today even though she hasn't had anything different to eat and when I took her for a little walk she spent the whole time trying to eat grass. No sign of nesting although has been restless today!

This sounds like your first litter , do you have any one you can call on should things not go according to plan ?
at 60 days I wouldnt be worried , The milk sounds as though she has lots of it all ready for the pups.
Some books say they dont eat food on the day they whelp , My Fleur had a huge breakfast and had her first pup 1 hour later, so that theory went out the window 8)
I always read every book possible to get the worse case in my mind out of the way ,
Ive had 10 litters over 25 years , but still worry like mad until they are all here safe and sound

The Whelping and rearing of puppies by Muriel P Lee, is the most fantastic book. Clear sensible advice and lots of pictures. There are also some on-line sites that are very good. Google "whelping". Good luck.

Taking her temp daily as it gets close to the time is a good indicator. It will drop by about 1 degree when she is within 24 hours of whelping.
I hope you are all prepared for what's about to happen. If you haven't gone through this before it would be good to have someone on hand who's well experienced, and let your vet know in case you need to call him/her quickly.
