Hi everyone,

I think yesterday there was a post about size and I wondered how Indi was measuring so I tried not to much success and then tried again and found that at 1 day shy of 21 weeks he is measuring at 19 and 1/2". does this sound OK to you as I am hoping to show and am unsure of if this is about where he should be?

All lines mature and grow at different rates - so perhaps ask the breeder? Measure at 6 months and see then! Sounds as if he may be on the larger side if I am honest.

The size thread is on Whippet Showing if you want to catch up with it! :))

Like Jo says, measure him again in a month or so - I shouldn't worry just yet.

Frankie was getting on for 20" by the age of 6/7/8 months (I would guess, 2 years ago now!), obviously ppl said he was big. He didn't however grow much more after this and is now a nice size and looks average size amongst the dogs in the ring.

Good luck if you do decide to start showing
