Hi,

Can anyone tell me what size of racing jacket I would need for my whippet... she weighs between 21-22lb...

I've seen the sets on the greyhound megastore website and I wondered whether I would need small or medium  ?

Oh and do I need yellow or orange for racing in the UK?

Hi

Julie talk to Maggie and she can get them for you. I got a set for Megan a couple of weeks ago but they were to big so Graham has taken them back and is getting me smaller ones. If we ever manage to be there the same time lol Ruby can try one on for size.

I paid something like £24 for a set of six but you only need 1 - 4

Will you be at the club on Sunday. Megan would like to see Ruby again. Its Megans birthday today one year old already

Take care

Happy Birthday Megan, Toby sends very big kisses

Julie, like Wendy says, try the different sizes at the club that saves you having to send wrong sizes back

We have used our number 5 on a couple of occasions at Opens. I think the small will be the right size as Medium is biggish on my 23 lb lad and will fit my 31 lb boy too. I have just purchased a set form GH megastore, and they have adjustable velcro straps, so if buying from there, I would small

You will need medium .......The small size fits my Tink at 14lbs .........Medium fits my 22lb-ders .......and large fits my 28lb-ders as you need a bit of slack in the waist band to stop them pulling tight as they race .......but this is just my own personal opinion having brought these racing jackets .......and yes a yellow jacket is sometimes needed

Sounds like I will have to get Ruby to try on everyone else's clothes on Sunday :) .

I'm still toying with the idea of making them myself... I like the sound of the t-shirt type ones some people have.

Thanks for the replies, very helpful
