Hi

You could try evening primrose oil capsules, one a day, Ive found they're very good for these non specific skin problems.

Hope that helps

Ask your vet for some of this if he hasn't already prescibed it

MALASEB ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTIFUNGAL SHAMPOO

keith

Does your dog have any bald patches?

When you say flakey...is it like really bad dandruff??

What do you feed and do you give any suppliments??

my daughters dog midnight run was diagnosed with an under active thyroid ,one of the main symtoms was flakey skin and hair loss

Sounds to me like a dietary problem, what do you feed him?

could be too much protein...

spray tee tree oil on bald patches ....when you`ve sorted the other problem out ....

you could try benzol benzoate that good stuff :D

well i have 3 dogs i give them tinned food with mixer biscuits the reason is one of my dogs is 14 years old and she is a funny eater so this is what she will eat but if you can tell me a good food for him and the the other dog(terrier cross 10 years )i will be well happy to change it but i will have to order it as i live on the isle of lewis and it is really hard to get things thanks

Iams small bite is excellent, with some gravey on  thats if you can get it! :luck:

i have a pup who had a bald patch on her leg vet gave her a bottle to put in with her feed it is called moult and her hair is growing back in you can also get it at petshops
