6 month old pup
Sleeps in his crate in the living room. Goes to bed at 9 ish. That's when he naturally falls asleep..toilet before bed. Water lifted at 19.30
3am he wakes without fail. I let him out and he goes and has a pee every time.. then back in and back into his crate. So then he would wake anywhere between 5 and 7 and I was bringing him up into my bed then to get some extra sleep. As of yesterday I am giving up on that extra sleep and not bringing him up in the hope it helps drop this ,3am wake up... Incase he's waking in the hope he can come up for a snuggle ..
He's doing SO well with his toilet training now. Stands at the door, barks or uses his bells. Had one pee accident in 5 days so I'm pleased with that.
I absolutely NEED a full night's sleep though I'm poorly..
I have tried moving his crate upstairs but it didn't work, tried ignoring and then he peed in his crate .
I am thinking of putting his crate in the kitchen and just leaving the door open when I go to bed.. so he can get up and pee in the kitchen if he's so desperate but I'm worried it will knock his toilet training back. I just can't fall back to sleep after the 3am wake up call.. I know a few more months and he'd maybe crack it but my sanity and health can't take a few more months. I haven't had a full nights sleep in 4 months .. help please x
