I'm still in bed and it's lovely!!!

Today I'll be organising the baby shower I'm throwing tomorrow - need to bake and decorate!

A whole lot of nothing today!!!

I've finished the present wrapping today (we've got too many birthdays in the coming weeks in my family!) so now I'm thinking about getting the cakes out and getting a layer of marzipan on them.

I'm planning a day of as little as possible tomorrow, but amongst the little as possible it will definitely include some cake decoration and some bed linen ironing (booooo).

Most of the day in bed to allow my body to fend off this horrid cold, and the rest of it was spent dismantling the climbing frame from the livingroom so we can put a tree up tomorrow

I'm using climbing frame components to stand the tree on this year

It's a nasty bug isn't it?

I ended up at the local hospital at 8pm as mine has finally gone into a chest infection but I'm hoping now I have ABs that I will be good for Xmas! :- )

I've got the lurgy too, but I find that standing in the steam of a good ironing session is very good for the bronchiae (especially if you put a drop of Olbas Oil in the water!).

That and a glass of medicinal port of course

I'm on my third different type of antibiotics - these are driving me nuts as they're empty stomach ones. It feels like I have to spend all day not eating!

I hope yours are more effective than mine have been so far Banana!

Pffft! I neatly fold my "ironing" and put it in a pile and sit on it while I have a glass of wine It doesnt really do much for the wrinkles in the clothes but when Ive had the wine I dont really care anymore :lol:
