I loved reading them Geoff!! It's such a shame that there isn't a central archive for all old whippet stuff, even a museum ( or something like it) to celebrate how whippet racing used to be in it's hey day. It would be great to look back at the days when loads of dogs attended opens regularly and hear about some dogs whose names are rarely mentioned, maybe that might help people think of bloodlines that they might like to use now, if they are still evident in todays gene pool.

I guess it might be interesting, for some of us newies, to be able to look back and see what has been tried in racing, rather than sometimes trying to invent the wheel again.
