Hi,

I am trying to find a soft crate, but keep drawing blanks! I am ideally looking for navy blue and black, with "quick up" poles and a flat top rather than curved.

I only seem to be able to find beige, green, or a maroon colour, or a blue and grey one from crofts, but not sure if this is as easy to put up as it says?

I know I've seen lots at shows and would really appreciate any links or info that anyone may have so I can make a really informed choice.

The boys are not chewers btw and are crate trained so no worries there :- "

Oh Well, it was worth a try! They have the maroon ones and green ones, but no blue

If anyone has any other ideas, I'd be really grateful :thumbsup:

Hi Tracy

We got our soft, flat topped blue cage from Marlin Pet Products at Crufts last year and we are very pleased with it. :thumbsup: It was about £60. But for some reason I can't get through to their website on the internet at the moment, so wonder if the company is no more.

Saw something very similar here though.

I got Dolly a soft crate for when we holiday in the caravan and she really loves it. On our last holiday each night she would 'put herself to bed' -_- and seemed very happy in it. She was used to a normal metal crate first.

It is really easy to use and very lightweight, as well as packing up quite flat, so doesn't take up much room when stored We use it in the car for her as well.

It is maroon though - I've looked on the ebay site where I purchased it and can't see another colour unfortunately.

That seems very expensive. I only paid about £35 for mine of the same size (not blue though Tracy!!)

i needed a waterproof one and its the only one i could find and it has no poles either its supposed to be really easy to put up and down....i think you generally get what you pay for and i needed a good one for our caravan hols

Tracy, the thing with the soft crates is, that aside from the ones with the separate poles that come in either green or beige, the other brands mostly seem to be colour coded by size, so the whippet size might be one colour and the beagle size another etc...

We have a navy one from marlin (btw - don't deal with them online or on the phone - chances are you may never get your item - I only ever deal with them in person now) which is a 30 inch and 'just' fits the two girls, but we also have their green one which is the 36 inch and fits 2 with lots of room.

I've seen a blue one recently, here: surrey pet supplies

Can't vouch for the company as I know nothing about them, but they have blue ones :thumbsup:
