SORRY JUST LOOKED IN FAQ AND FOUND MY ANSWERS, SORRY TO BOTHER YOU ALL...

I MUST REMEMBER TO LOOK THERE FIRST IN FUTURE

so not only do i have a constipated toddler, teething baby and a headache

now the doggy is teething, teeth keep falling out, he has chewed my pink fluffy boot and got it covered in blood.

he is obviously being driven mad by the teething pain, i feel sorry for him.

he has not eaten properly for two days, he has beta puppy, kibble things.

they are hard and i dont think he can chew.

as you all know this is my first dog, and so i am a bit lost as to how to help him...

advice will be greatly appreciated.

our kiplin is almost 5 months now and i give him plenty of hard treats to chew on ,the raw hide chews are great, but get the more solid shaped ones not the shoe shape as little bits can be chewed off and could choke a pup, also bonios are quite hard too and he as a couple of them a day.

all he as for his main feeding is raw mince meat with a mixer and bones about once a week, the bones must have lots of meat on them if you fancy trying them like raw chicken wings or raw turkey necks and always give them supervised.

hope this is of some help to you

so far if jake has anything other than his dried kibble food twice a day he gets an upset tummy, which is rather messy :x

i didnt know i could give him RAW meat, and i thought things like chicken bones were dangerous??

i only have ever kept cats and they cant have chicken bones

am i feeding him wrong :(

get an old tea towl ( or two ) put them in cold water . ring them out , tie a knot in it and pput it in the freezer overnight .

by morning it should be frozen and give it to him , this will help cool his gums down

also ice cubes are great too

you are feeding jake right its just some people prefer dried to raw and some people prefer raw to dry,i use to feed mine dried food, then i read up on the raw feeding diet better known as the barf diet and decided to give it a go and it suits all my dogs, chicken wings are fine to give dogs as long as they are raw and must be supervised while eating them just incase anything happens, and must say if my cat is around and theres a chicken wing spare he as one too.

www.landywoods.co.uk is where i buy all my raw pet foods.

if jake as a sensitive stomach it would be best leaving him on what you feed him now and maybe introduce some teething treats and must say love the tea towel idea  will have to give that a go with kiplin

"Nylabones" from reputable pet shops are very good for puppies (and adult dogs) to chew.

I also find the "frozen tea-towel" thing very helpful.

Good luck!

you could also soften his biscuits in a little cold water just while he is finding it painfull. just soak it untill it goes softer ?

ive heard not to soak it in hot water as it loses its goodness but to do it in cold is fine

dont worry , the kids are growing up and so is the dog (w00t)

you will get theough it .

take a paracetamol and do what it says on the box ....

take 2 tablets ,, then KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN (w00t)
