Great pix, Ok, I'd really like to know what camera you are using and what settings?  Pleeeeease
Hi Juley. I used Today a Nikon D70 with a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 APO DG HSM lens. camera settings: shutter speed priority 1000-1650 (depending on light at the time), iso 400-800, image optimisation-sharper, manual focus, panning. That's about it apart from good reflexes :sweating:

Hi, thanks for that. I've got a Canon 350D. One more question, why manual focus? I know you must have Al servo, like mine? My action shots are not bad, but nothing like as good as yours.

I just seem to get better results using MF, I pick a spot where I am going to shoot, focus on it (on the the lure twine), pan and when they reach the spot take 2 or 3 continuous shots and usualy you get one good one

Fab pictures Lloyd, thanks for sharing, some great action shots of our boys :D
Yes Judy, you are right, parti running up with Tyler in the red muzzle is Ruby, I am pretty sure that the handsome brindle boy is Paul and Jo's Dexter who was running up with another dog for the first time today and ran brilliantly.

Louise & Simon, you must be chuffed with Daisy today :D   Didn't she run well after being off with her injury and then running with two other dogs at the end. Well done

A very enjoyable (but very windy) day today, many thanks to Kev, Steph & Tony and Jo and Lloyd for allowing your boys and girls to trial with our boys.

Thank-you Darcia and Rob. Glad you like the photos, we would like to thank you for making us new-comers so welcome. Any time you want to trial another dog, we will happily share Fynn...............He just loves it! See you soon

Thank you Paul for letting Daisy run with your dogs

Thanks to everyone for their help and advise it is sorely needed, Daisys o:) fine its just us :sweating:

Anyway cheers she had a lovely birthday afternoon

Glad Daisy had a happy birthday afternoon  .......She ran perfectly with Paul and Jo's Obi and his daughter Connie in her last trial and she was spot on :D .......You should be soooo pleased with what she's done today :D (some dogs NEVER perfect the art of running correctly in company  ) ..........See you all soon Hannah :)

May-be Daisy is ready to do some clearing trials?

Good luck even if it's Autumn before she can do it. Have a good Summer.

Jo x
