Just got home after a lovely long weekend with a new veteran crowned WCRCh/VC Brown Eyed Girl over the moon with the way she ran today :D

I think the only downer was "Elvire" getting injured in the final :( get well soon Ty :luck: I know how much work June has put into him, so it was such a shame for him to come off lame after leading right just before the finish :(

Well done to all the finalists  Fun to run, Mr Noisy, Blue Devil (all the way from scotland  ) Diamond Geezer Summa Breeze, Bring it on, and every-one I forgot in the finals.

Also Well done to VC Mortons Cressida, and VC Brown Eyed Girl

Sorry to see two great dogs having an injury little Elvire, and Big Ron, so its back to the greyhound vet today, Ron is still on 3 legs :( after the final yesterday :( :luck:

Thank you for a lovely day Gazza, Paul, and all your helpers once again for a great days racing  great weather 8) 8)

Well done Elaine and John with Code red, and Jane with deadley Solution, what a fanistic final hope Lloyd managed to get a photo

See you all at Cornwall

Enjoyed what racing we saw :) Could some kind person tell us the results, as we had to leave early due to phone call requesting services of our old Saluki - who couldn't muster up enough energy to do the business anyway  but in his defence he will be 13 in a few months time, so big ask!

Great pics as always Lloyd ..  I do hope you managed to get one of our Twit..

It was a wonderfull days racing with a lot of very good racing.. Hope to see you all again soon.

Fantastic photos Lloyd. I really like the fast shutter speed ones taken at the end.

Well done to all the finalists again, especially new champion Mr Starburst and half coats Fun To Run and Blue Devil. Also VCs Bold As Brass, Brown Eyed Girl and Mortons Cressida.

Also I think Talk of The Devil equalled the record of 5 wins for his group. Well done Jane.

There were quite a few young ones looking really good too I thought. Blue Devil's brothers Devil's Double and Cheap Thrills ran very well and also Baby Love ( little Eedie  ) Making Music, Mr Noisy, Dandy's Gold. Code Red, Half A Spot and Indiana Joe all made finals.

Sorry to hear about injuries to Big Ron and Elvire. Hope they're OK.

Well done to all participants and finalists. We had a fabulous week-end as usual and the event was well organised. We were so lucky to have nice weather at last, doesn't it make a difference!

Such a shame about the injuries, if any-one hears, can they please tell us how Elvire is this morning, he did look very sorry for himself yesterday and I couldn't stop thinking about the poor chap last night :(

Me and Mozza had a lovely day (if a bit short) :D

Huge well dones and Congratulations to Hateley and Jacob

Well done to all the the winners and runners

Well done to all :D .......It was great to see Maggie get her VC to go along with the rest of her titles  .........Blue Devil ran well all day and when his brothers are more experienced they'll also be ones to watch :*

It was brilliant to see Ray and Lynn back with Jimmy ....What a dog .....The sportsmanship and banter in the h/w vets was top class all day and made me remember that racing is fun ;) .......We had great fun and thanks to Steve for helping us with the Twits stoppers

I hope Keepers better after being injured in his semi (that would explain how Jacob beat him :b ) :luck: .....and :luck: :luck: to the others that were injured ....wishing you all a speedy recovery :huggles:

Just like to say thank you to all the people that have rung us and e-mailed us about Big Ron, he will be going to the greyhound vets this afternoon to Mr O'connors and we will know then  thank you for your concern

Thanks Hannah and also all the people who asked after him after they saw him run up. Its nice to know people care. As yet no bruising has appeared so we're more hopeful that it might not turn out to be his gracilis again.

Well done to Jacob, he ran very well in his final.

Craig showed me Big Ron's toe Tina. I hope it doesn't keep him of for too long

Thank you Judy, hope your boy is ok to, we did'nt realise only just seen it on k9 sorry :( Hope he recovers well and not of to long
