Thought I'd share this portrait of Willow - and a couple of other pics of us lounging around this evening...joined by the cat! :D

Awww, love the first picture

Willow is adorable :huggles:

Yes, he is THE most adorable boy and Bea and I can't wait until he comes to live at her house (next door to mine!).

We've told the girls they are getting a new brother and they are all laid back about it - they are more interested to know that a chicken will be roasted in Willow's honour the day he arrives (hopefully Oct 13th or thereabouts). :)) His new raised food bowls and some special treats are all waiting for him - along with all the love and cuddles he wants and needs. :huggles:

We are so grateful to Alison for keeping him until after our (long-booked) holiday and the way she and her family have cared for him will make it much easier for him to settle down - she tells us he has put on weight and is far more confident and happier than when he first arrived with her.

There will be lots more photos of him with his new sisters when he has settled with Bea (and my lot - we spend a lot of time together and the dogs always walk together). Polly and twiggy are good at looking after worried dogs and Miss Lily- herself only rescued early this year and the oldest at 14 - will be perfectly happy to share her home.

We love the oldies so much - watching them blossom when they realise they are in their forever home is wonderful. Lily has gone from being a very skinny, cowed, incontinent little girl to being the bossiest of our three and up to normal weight and now totally house-trained again. She bashes the door to make us let her out  then insists on her treat when she has been a 'good girl'.

I can recommend the old dogs to anyone wondering if they make good pets - THEY DO!!!!

How elegant Willow looks. Hope he will be really happy in his new homes, with his new friends waiting to welcome him.

Wow Janet you kept that one very dark... (w00t) Ive just seen this.....

Willow is just gorgeous, and cant wait to see your photos when he arrives.

I just know he will be pampered to death... :huggles: :huggles: Good luck :luck: :luck:

willow is just

Willow is absolutely gorgeous, he reminds me of my Molly  but an older, male version

At first I thought, hang on, theres two cats in that picture but then I realised that it was Lill :)

Alison - I had forgotten to measure Mollys jumper but I think Willows might be too small. Also, I can't find your post on dp anymore, was the length 17"?

Yes I think it was! Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find a small enough dog somewhere - maybe one of Janet or Bea's girls will fit it!

Have you seen the pics of Willow in his new jumper? It's still a bit short but is more comfy on him round the arms this time!
