It was a beautiful day - if a bit hot for the dogs. I'll echo all Julie's well done's. Thankyou West Somerset for a great day.

Really pleased for the Peppermint and Deadly gang who we spent the day with today. Thanks Sue for the catchup results when I was talking too much  Steve wants to park next to you again Julie, with having a cake shop in the back of your van  Nice to see the Northerners down for the open.

Maddie ran so well for you today - to be that good at such a young age is amazing. She is obviously going to be a big name of the future

I have to say a few of us were thinking that maybe the breaks were too long, and then we thought about the people doing jobs in the blistering heat - no wonder you needed a decent break :sweating: I think Alan Haddrell should be entering for the Olympics after seing him sprinting with the lure - very impressive  Thanks to you all for a great open

There were a lot of K9ers there today - especially glad to see Sonia and Dave (Whippets4eva) with the gorgeous Jesse - he's looking great - sure you'll have a celebration next week  :huggles:

Thanks Steve B for your help today too

Thanks to everyone down at West Somerset for a very enjoyable open. :huggles:

Congrats to Jane and D. Serious for winning the heavyweight maiden from the back, looking forwards to seeing Dillon run the bends at the end of year. Also to Betty's P Kiwi Star who also won out of maiden and is improving each time he runs.

Mega huge congrats to Geoff's Sam (Fly The Wind) , he's running so well. P Perfection (young Maddie) ran really well, I thought that she showed her inexperience in the semi against daddy Ralph (had a bit of a wander across the track towards the end of the race she was trying so hard to catch him) but she was much closer to him in the final. Great racing from such a young inexperienced dog.

I took so long trying to work out which dog was Jest and which Logan that the race was over before I'd done it :b so I kinda missed the actual racing altogether.

Congrats to all the other winners and finalists. Hope that all the dogs have come off sound.

Had a good day. A great heavyweight final - well done Ralph, Maddie, Jest & Logan  Geoff's Sam was brilliant too and Mark & Lesley's pair did fantastically again. Well done Jane winning the Maiden and of course Sweep in the Vets. He's doing really well for you this year June  I really love watching the Maidens. Fleur won again and I liked the look Of Poldarks Kiwi Star. I think Treliske looks like he might be something special too and also Bee United, all in the same group. Kinda Cheeky did really well in her group too.
